These special multi-stake conferences are scheduled for the week following a gathering week. They are organised by YSA leaders with the help of institute personnel and institute leaders and serve as a gathering experience to promote institute attendance.
Our desire is for each assigned stake (or institute program) to host a Multi-Stake Institute Scripture Conference experience that will bless the lives of all those who attend. Here are the dates for 2026:
• Beenleigh Program - January 28th Wednesday – Loganholme Chapel
• Kangaroo Point Program – April 14th Tuesday – Kangaroo Point Chapel
• Brisbane North Program – July 23rd Thursday – Burpengary Chapel
• Coomera Program – October 20th Tuesday – Coomera Chapel
Institute Programs will run as normal in the week of the Scripture Conference dates, except for institute programs that are held on the same night of the Multi-Stake Institute Scripture Conference. We invite these stake leaders to support the Multi-Stake Scripture Conference event.
4 x Gospel Presentations by selected guest presenters (topics and presenters selected and assigned by YSA leaders).
2 x 40-minute presentations by each presenter. They present twice, with a 10 min change over time in between presentations) YSA are able to attend 2 out of the 4 presentations.
Time: 7pm – 9:00pm
• Presentation 1: 7:00-7:40pm
• Break: 7:40-7:50pm
• Presentation 2: 7:50-8:30pm
• Closing exercises: 8:35pm in the chapel
• Food afterwards and social.
While presenters will have varied approaches, we do invite a large portion of time to be spent in the scriptures together. This is an opportunity to deepen conversion to the doctrine and principles of the gospel of Jesus Christ as presented in the scriptures, to encourage a love for a study of the word of God, and to receive personal and collective revelation. We also encourage use of the words of the living prophets and apostles. These experiences should promote institute attendance.
