One of the great blessings of living in the fullness of times is the opportunity to witness the fulfillment of the Lord's promises. As we prepare for His second coming, we will see Him reach out to gather His elect in many ways, as He said:
How oft have I called upon you by the mouth of my servants, and by the ministering of angels, and by mine own voice, and by the voice of thunderings, and by the voice of lightnings, and by the voice of tempests, and by the voice of earthquakes, and great hailstorms, and by the voice of famines and pestilences of every kind...(Doctrine and Covenants 43:25).
Therefore, living the gospel in this dispensation includes being prepared for emergencies the Lord can use to soften hearts. He promised,
"If ye are prepared ye shall not fear."
This module will provide you the information necessary to respond in the appropriate manner to a variety of emergencies--some likely, some unlikely--that you might experience in your service in this calling.
